Over the coming months and years, I will share reflections on our time in Albania. 2023 is the 30 Year Anniversary of our departure to Albania to begin an international chapter of our lives.
Our family of seven departed from Atlanta, Georgia on June 15, 1993. We landed in Tirana, Albania on June 16. This was my third time in the country, but it was a surreal beginning for the rest of the family. Our oldest son was 19 and our youngest were 6, twins. Their desire for new things was about to be fed.
God provided many experiences, and I’m excited to reminisce them with you. Enjoy!
